Homework

  1. Poster contest: School life. You still can turn it in this coming Saturday for 10 tickets.(1/14)
  2. Handouts of lesson 5 and 16 for 7 pages
  3. For those who participates in the Chinese rap, please try to memorize your lines. We will have a rehearsal at auditorium on 1/21.
  4. For older kids, please start to do lesson 5 and lesson 16 of your workbooks and turn them in to Sun laoshi (our TA.) It is OK that you don’t know how to do some of it. Just bring your workbooks and we will help you.

Learn about “Chinese characters” and the “Chinese dragon”.
Watch the authentic DVD for children who live in Taiwan and China. See how much you understand ^0^

Homework

A. Poster contest: School life
Please turn them in on 1/7 for 10 tickets! ^0^
If you forgot to bring the drawing paper home or lost it, just use a 11’x14’ drawing paper for it.^0^

Please encourage your kids to do this if they like to draw.

C. Daniel, David, Max, Henry, Elsie, Josie and Colin,
Please practice the Chinese rapping at home. I will ask you to read together in the class and we will decide the lines for you to memorize on January 7.
The performance is on January 28. This is open to all students. If your child also wants to do the rap, please practice at home. We will work out the lines and their corresponding performers on January 7.^0^
